What You’ll Do

• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures in the Operating Room (CVOR).
• Prepare for cases by ensuring supplies and equipment are available and in working condition.
• Confirm and/or assemble sterile instruments for correct use.
• Set up and maintain a sterile environment, including monitoring the sterile field and recognizing breaks in technique.
• Anticipate the surgeon’s needs during procedures.
• Keep accurate counts and records for medications, sharps, instruments, and sponges per policy.
• Verify items on the physician preference card and support accurate documentation for patient charges.

Required

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
• Ability to set up sterile fields and maintain sterile technique
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and operating room workflow

Preferred

• Experience supporting cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) cases (if applicable/available)
