- Responsible for the performance of timely, accurate, quality clinical laboratory tests and basic clinical laboratory functions
- Appropriate specimen collection, handling, processingand corresponding orders for diagnostic testing
- Performance and appropriate documentation of diagnostic testing
- Performance and interpretation of quality control/calibration and participation in all quality assessment/improvement activities
- Perform maintenance, calibrations and function checks
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in this laboratory
