Temporary Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical/Surgical Night Shift - New London, NH

  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid NH Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, NH Board of Nursing approved IV training (if administering IV medications)
  • Experience: Prior experience in medical-surgical units preferred

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to stable surgical patients under RN supervision
  • Conduct focused assessments: vital signs, skin, wounds, and functional status
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, nutrition, and hydration
  • Administer oral, topical, and inhaled medications; IV medications upon completion of authorized training and delegation
  • Apply dressings and assistive devices as ordered or indicated
  • Communicate patient status and observations to the interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain a safe environment by following policies and reporting safety concerns
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and timely
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and compliance activities

What You Need:
  • Valid NH LPN license and relevant certifications
  • Prior experience in medical-surgical units preferred
  • Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
  • Ability to work night shifts reliably in a fast-paced environment
