Job Summary.
Our client is seeking a Temp Material Handler III to support warehouse and manufacturing operations by receiving, organizing, and moving materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and processing material-related paperwork. The role also involves operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, fulfilling work orders, and assisting with shipping activities as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Description
Pick and pull materials from stock using computerized manufacturing work orders and pick lists
Receive components and items using the JDE system
Perform cycle counting
Print and pull warehouse shop orders and customer orders
Attend daily assembly Gemba meetings
Consolidate warehouse materials and remove excess or obsolete materials
Put away all inbound materials
Maintain accurate inventory records for all raw materials
Process all required paperwork pertaining to materials
Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials
May be cross-trained in shipping to assist shipping personnel as needed
Perform other duties as necessary
Skills Required
Proficiency in mathematics and the use of drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and
Forklift experience is a plus
Microsoft Excel experience preferred
Blueprint reading preferred
Familiarity with JDE
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work with a sense of urgency
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent attendance and a solid performance record
Good reading skills and basic math skills
Education/Training/Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Additional Requirements
Ability to support and work in a team environment
Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and stand and walk most of the day
Pay Rate/Salary
$23.00/hr. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
