Medical Assistant (Temporary Assignment – 6 to 8 Weeks - can go longer)

Location: Lebannon, PA

Pay Rate: $20.00–$21.00 per hour

Duration: Temporary assignment, approximately 6–8 weeks, can go longer

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team for a temporary 6–8 week assignment. The ideal candidate will support physicians and nurses with both clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient patient care and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant medical information
• Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and minor medical procedures
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies
• Perform basic laboratory tasks and administer medications as directed
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in/check-out
• Support billing and other administrative functions as needed
• Ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required
• CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification preferred
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus
