What Youll Do
Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures with high-quality results
Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address concerns to ensure patient comfort and confidence
Operate and maintain all nuclear imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality
Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes within scope of practice as prescribed by a licensed practitioner
Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
Complete all documentation, logs, and records accurately in paper and electronic formats
Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality assurance procedures
Assist other radiology areas as needed
What You Need
Valid licensure or certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (if required by state)
Prior experience performing nuclear medicine imaging (preferred)
Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures
Excellent patient communication skills
