What You’ll Do
  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures with high-quality results
  • Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address concerns to ensure patient comfort and confidence
  • Operate and maintain all nuclear imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality
  • Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes within scope of practice as prescribed by a licensed practitioner
  • Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
  • Complete all documentation, logs, and records accurately in paper and electronic formats
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality assurance procedures
  • Assist other radiology areas as needed
What You Need
  • Valid licensure or certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (if required by state)
  • Prior experience performing nuclear medicine imaging (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures
  • Excellent patient communication skills
