What Youll Do
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures based on physician requests
- Obtain patient histories, explain procedures, and address patient concerns to ensure comfort
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate nuclear imaging equipment
- Prepare and administer radioactive materials accurately and safely
- Follow radiation safety standards to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self
- Maintain detailed documentation and logs of procedures and supplies
- Perform routine maintenance and quality assurance on imaging equipment
- Assist other radiology areas as needed
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and hospital policies
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Michigan State licensure and ARRT or NMTCB certification in nuclear medicine
- At least 2 years relevant experience in nuclear medicine imaging
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and quality assurance protocols
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred:
- Experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging center
