What You’ll Do
  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures based on physician requests
  • Obtain patient histories, explain procedures, and address patient concerns to ensure comfort
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate nuclear imaging equipment
  • Prepare and administer radioactive materials accurately and safely
  • Follow radiation safety standards to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self
  • Maintain detailed documentation and logs of procedures and supplies
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality assurance on imaging equipment
  • Assist other radiology areas as needed
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and hospital policies

What You Need
Required:
  • Valid Michigan State licensure and ARRT or NMTCB certification in nuclear medicine
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience in nuclear medicine imaging
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and quality assurance protocols
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

Preferred:
  • Experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging center
