What You’ll Do
  • Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL functioning disorders
  • Develop personalized plans of care following regulatory and clinical standards
  • Perform rehabilitative treatments, including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device support
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatments accordingly
  • Assess treatment outcomes and make referrals based on patient needs
  • Provide counseling and support to patients, families, and care teams
  • Document all services accurately in electronic health records
  • Supervise occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, or students as needed
  • Participate in care conferences, meetings, and ongoing training
What You Need
  • Valid occupational therapy license in Oklahoma
  • NBCOT certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably LTC
  • Strong communication and clinical skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow regulatory guidelines
