What Youll Do
- Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL functioning disorders
- Develop personalized plans of care following regulatory and clinical standards
- Perform rehabilitative treatments, including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device support
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatments accordingly
- Assess treatment outcomes and make referrals based on patient needs
- Provide counseling and support to patients, families, and care teams
- Document all services accurately in electronic health records
- Supervise occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, or students as needed
- Participate in care conferences, meetings, and ongoing training
What You Need
- Valid occupational therapy license in Oklahoma
- NBCOT certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably LTC
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Ability to work well in a team and follow regulatory guidelines
