What You’ll Do

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
• Develop and implement individualized care plans following regulatory and clinical standards
• Conduct assessments using standardized tools and evidence-based practices
• Provide rehabilitative treatments including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and record outcomes accurately
• Document all clinical interventions and communicate with the healthcare team
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Support supervision of occupational therapy assistants, aides, and students as applicable
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and compliance activities as required

What You Need

• Valid Occupational Therapist license and NBCOT certification
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, ideally in long-term care
• Strong communication, assessment, and treatment skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
