What Youll Do
- Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develop personalized care plans following regulatory and clinical standards
- Administer therapeutic interventions, including ADL retraining, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as needed
- Document treatment outcomes and discharge summaries accurately
- Provide consultation to patients, families, and caregivers
- Collaborate with healthcare team members on patient care
- Supervise occupational therapist assistants, aides, and students
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and facility activities
What You Need
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Long Term Care or similar setting
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adhere to NBCOT and state practice acts
