What You’ll Do

• Provide outpatient occupational therapy services with a focus on the elbow, wrist, and hand
• Evaluate and treat shoulder injuries, including pain and post-surgical cases
• Utilize physical agent modalities to enhance patient recovery
• Fabricate and fit custom and prefabricated splints for outpatient clients
• Independently manage outpatient caseloads and develop treatment plans
• Cover critical access swing and Med Surg inpatient units at UCVH
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

What You Need
Required:

• Valid OT license in New Hampshire or eligible for licensure
• Experience with outpatient therapy, especially upper extremity conditions
• Ability to evaluate and treat shoulder and hand injuries
• Proficiency in use of physical modalities and splint fabrication

Preferred:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and communication skills

About the Assignment
This outpatient OT position will be split between two facilities—Androscoggin Valley Hospital and Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital—both located in a scenic area of Berlin, NH. Travelers must have their own transportation and should explore housing options in Errol, NH, prior to placement.
