What You'll Do

• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for outpatient clients
• Evaluate patients’ physical and functional abilities to determine appropriate interventions
• Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, and modifications to support recovery
• Educate patients and family members on techniques and strategies for daily living
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies and documentation standards

What You Need

• Valid Michigan OT license
• Minimum of 1 year outpatient OT experience
• Strong communication and patient-centered skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic or rehab settings
• BLS certification

About the Assignment
This outpatient occupational therapy assignment involves providing direct patient care within a supportive environment. Therapists will manage a caseload related to post-injury, post-surgical, or condition-specific rehab, focusing on restoring function, relieving pain, and preventing disability.
