What Youll Do
- Support patient rehabilitation through evidence-based practices
- Provide skilled, medically necessary interventions, including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use
- Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising Occupational Therapist
- Document treatments and patient progress accurately in electronic records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and provide consultations to patients, families, and caregivers
- Support discharge planning and contribute to patient care conferences
- Supervise and support students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
- Ensure adherence to all relevant practice acts, ethics, and regulations
What You Need
- Current State Licensure/Registration (as applicable)
- Relevant experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and follow clinical protocols
