What Youll Do:
Provide skilled, medically necessary occupational therapy treatments to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders
Support patients through activities like ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, and assistive device use
Monitor and assess patient progress; communicate updates to supervising Occupational Therapist
Document all clinical interventions and patient responses accurately in electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care plans
Support and supervise students under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
Adhere to all professional licensure, ethics, and practice standards in accordance with NBCOT, AOTA, and state regulations
What You Need:
Active State Licensure/Registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (if applicable)
Prior experience working in long-term care settings preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and support patient-focused care
