PLEASENOTE This position is for the UNM Gallup Branch located in Gallup NMapproximately 138 miles west of Albuquerque NM.The University of New Mexico Gallup Branch AppliedTechnology and Allied Health Sciences Division seeks to hire temporarypart-time faculty members to teach face-to-face undergraduate-level classes inthe Fall 2025 Spring and Summer 2026 semesters. Some of these courses includePossible Courses- WELD 1015 NCCER Safety Course- WELD 1110 Introduction toWelding Fundamentals- WELD 1120 Print Reading forWelders- WELD 1130 SMAWShielded MetalArc Welding I- WELD 1140 GMAWGas Metal ArcWelding I- WELD 1155 GTAWGas TungstenArc Welding I- WELD 1160 OxyacetyleneWelding- WELD 2130 SMAWShielded MetalArc Welding IIUNM Gallup instructors are responsible for all aspects of anyclass they are teaching including but not limited to meeting with the classduring assigned times that may include online evenings andor weekendscontent delivery assignment development grading assignments reporting ofgrades and assessment of student learning as outlined by the department chair.Positions are contingent upon need each semesteras determined by student enrollment levels current course offering matrix anddemand driven by graduation requirements. Positions may be filled oreliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to drop or addcourses.
