We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our clients growing team. This position plays an important role in the production, finishing, quality inspection, and shipping of labels and signs. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Production & Finishing
Manufacture labels and signs utilizing printing, cutting, laminating, hole-punching, and finishing equipment.
Perform assembly, trimming, cutting, and general production support tasks.
Operate production equipment following established procedures and safety guidelines.
Maintain production quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Quality Control
Conduct quality inspections on finished goods.
Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Identify defects and communicate quality concerns appropriately.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
Shipping & Receiving
Pick, pack, and process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
Ensure inventory and materials are properly stored and organized.
Assist with inventory inspections and cycle counts.
General Warehouse & Production Support
Operate scales and counting equipment.
Assist with inventory management activities.
Operate a pallet stacker safely and efficiently.
Support additional projects and departmental needs as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
Strong organizational skills.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
Basic math skills.
Strong communication skills.
Dependable, punctual, and responsible work habits.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday.
Ability to work in a production and warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations.
Experience operating production equipment.
Experience with inventory management or cycle counting.
Forklift or pallet stacker experience is a plus.
