Required Skills:
- Valid Physical Therapist license and Home Health Certification
- Proven experience in providing physical therapy services within a home health setting
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation equipment including splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and patients
- Basic proficiency in documentation and care plan development
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with therapeutic modalities beyond standard protocols
- Familiarity with telehealth or remote patient monitoring tools
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Additional certifications related to specialty care or advanced rehabilitation techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in home health physical therapy
- Previous experience working in Berkshire County or similar community settings
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work day shifts with flexibility as needed
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license for travel within the service area
- Setting up voicemail for effective communication
- Attendance and punctuality are essential; note any planned time off during application process (limited to 5 days)
- Compliance with all HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations
- Willingness to adhere to Vermont Healthcare System policies and guidelines
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $60.30
