Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist looking to provide vital care in a supportive and professional environment? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Temp PT to join our Long Term Care team in Lowell, MA, starting June 22, 2026. What You Will Do:
  • Evaluate and develop personalized care plans for patients with physical functioning disorders and wounds, adhering to all regulatory standards.
  • Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support effective clinical interventions.
  • Administer procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, wound care, and assistive device support.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and evaluate outcomes to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Provide clinical consultation and education to patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all treatments, assessments, and patient progress in our electronic health records system.
  • Collaborate directly with multidisciplinary teams through participation in care conferences, review meetings, and ongoing training.
  • Supervise and support rehab aides, students, and other team members, ensuring quality care delivery.

Required Skills:
  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts.
  • Proven experience in Long Term Care or equivalent settings.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, wound care, and patient assessment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to document clinical notes accurately and efficiently.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience supervising therapy assistants or students.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record systems.
  • Familiarity with current APTA standards and state regulations.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • At least 1-2 years of outpatient or long-term care experience.

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work weekdays during daytime hours.
  • Willingness to obtain necessary supplies and certifications as required.
  • Travel reimbursements for required assessments or training, if applicable.
