What You'll Do:
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders under supervision of a PT
  • Administer procedures such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, ambulation, modalities, and support devices
  • Assess patient progress and collaborate with supervising PT to adjust treatment plans
  • Document all treatments and patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records
  • Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families regarding treatment plans and progress
  • Support and supervise students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
  • Participate in patient care conferences, training sessions, and team meetings
  • Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
What You Need:
  • Active State License as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care preferred
  • Strong communication and clinical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
