What You'll Do:
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders under supervision of a PT
- Administer procedures such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, ambulation, modalities, and support devices
- Assess patient progress and collaborate with supervising PT to adjust treatment plans
- Document all treatments and patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families regarding treatment plans and progress
- Support and supervise students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
- Participate in patient care conferences, training sessions, and team meetings
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
What You Need:
- Active State License as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care preferred
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
