What You’ll Do:
  • Provide rehabilitative and skilled treatments for patients with physical functioning disorders under supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Administer procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use
  • Assess patient progress and communicate adjustments to treatment plans
  • Document all interventions accurately in electronic health records
  • Counsel patients, families, and caregivers on physical health and mobility issues
  • Support discharge planning and report treatment outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and conferences
  • Support supervising Physical Therapist and students as needed
  • Adhere to ethical standards and practice acts per APTA and state guidelines

What You Need:
  • Active state licensure as a PTA
  • Prior experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and compliance with all regulations
