What Youll Do:
- Provide rehabilitative and skilled treatments for patients with physical functioning disorders under supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Administer procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use
- Assess patient progress and communicate adjustments to treatment plans
- Document all interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Counsel patients, families, and caregivers on physical health and mobility issues
- Support discharge planning and report treatment outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and conferences
- Support supervising Physical Therapist and students as needed
- Adhere to ethical standards and practice acts per APTA and state guidelines
What You Need:
- Active state licensure as a PTA
- Prior experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Commitment to patient-centered care and compliance with all regulations
