What Youll Do:
Support clinical interventions and administer medically necessary treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
Perform procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices
Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT
Counsel patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical health and progress
Document all care and treatment activities in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and conferences
Support the ordering of necessary supplies and DME as needed
Supervise and support students under the guidance of the supervising PT
What You Need:
Valid State Licensure as a PTA
Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to perform manual and therapeutic interventions effectively
