What You’ll Do:
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Administer procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and usage of supportive/assistive devices
  • Assess patients’ progress, communicate with supervising PT to modify treatments, and document all care provided
  • Support patient and family counseling related to physical disorders
  • Participate in patient care conferences, meetings, and required trainings
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment minutes and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Support and supervise students as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Ensure adherence to APTA and state practice acts, ethics, and conduct standards
What You Need:
  • Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (if applicable)
  • Prior experience in long-term care (preferred)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under supervision and support multidisciplinary teams
