What You’ll Do

• Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practices
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders under supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Administer procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices
• Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising therapists to modify treatment plans accordingly
• Document all treatments, patient progress, and vital information in medical records
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients and their families regarding physical health issues
• Participate in care conferences, trainings, and team meetings
• Assist with obtaining necessary supplies and DME as per clinical protocols
• Support students under supervision of the Physical Therapist
• Maintain compliance with APTA standards and state practice acts
• Engage actively in facility and company policies

What You Need
Required:

• Valid State PTA license
• Prior experience in Long Term Care setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and documentation standards

Preferred:

• Knowledge of electronic medical records systems (e.g., Cerner, Meditech)
• Experience supporting student supervision
