What You’ll Do
  • Support clinical interventions utilizing evidence-based practices under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments for patients with physical functioning disorders
  • Administer procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use
  • Assess patient progress; communicate with supervisors to adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Document all services and treatment outcomes accurately in electronic records
  • Consult and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
  • Support discharge planning and participate in care conferences and meetings
  • Support students and support staff under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Adhere to all applicable professional ethical standards and practice acts
What You Need
  • Active Massachusetts State Licensure as a PTA
  • Prior experience in long-term care settings preferred
  • Strong communication and clinical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
