What You'll Do:
Support clinical interventions based on evidence-based practices
Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders
Utilize manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices under supervision
Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising Physical Therapist
Document treatment outcomes and patient progress accurately in electronic health records
Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and conferences
Support patient discharge planning and coordinate necessary DME or supplies
Supervise and mentor students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
Adhere to professional standards, practice acts, and ethical guidelines
What You Need:
Current active licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Massachusetts
Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
