In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac events, supporting their journey to improved heart health. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you'll develop personalized treatment plans, educate patients on lifestyle modifications, and manage advanced cardiac devicesall while working within a busy clinic environment that values accuracy, compassion, and professionalism. Required Skills:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in cardiology or cardiac rehabilitation preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in point of care testing
- Ability to manage cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs)
- Knowledge of cardiovascular medications and patient education
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high patient volume
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in Cardiology Nursing (CNOR, CBCN, or equivalent)
- Remote monitoring experience
- Familiarity with device interrogation and programming
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in cardiology or a related specialty
- Prior experience with device management and patient counseling
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to work scheduled days, Monday through Friday
- Valid BLS/ACLS certification
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training or team meetings
- Certifications and license reimbursement available when applicable
