Employee Separation Policy: Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply
HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays
- NBO: 16 hrs
- EMR: EPIC
- OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
- Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum

Billable OT:
- 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
- 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

- 24 months of Medical Surgical, IMCU, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience in a hospital or medical center setting [required]
- neurology/neurosurgery care experience [required]
- ortho/orthopedic care experience [required]
- trauma care experience [highly preferred]
- EPIC emr/electronic medical experience [required]
- No 1st time travelers, must have completed at least one travel assignment in previous 12 mos
- Drip Experience: Heparin, PCA, 3% Sodium/Na [required]
- Specialty Equipment: telemetry, left equipment, chest tubes, airvo [highly preferred]
- EKG / Strip reading & measuring / telemetry experience [required]
- de-escalation certificate - [preferred] -- CPI, MOAB, MAB or SAMA accepted
- Trauma level I experience [highly preferred]
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:
- Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Medical Surgical, IMCU, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience [required]
- Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline (Medical Surgical, IMCU, Stepdown, or Progressive Care) [required]
- Nursy s must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission [required] [document]
- Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
- Driver s License [document] [required]
- AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/client ACLS [required]
