What You’ll Do

• Provide emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Screen and assess patient conditions upon arrival
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to develop treatment plans
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
• Respond efficiently to critical situations and emergencies
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols

What You Need

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2 years ER experience; 3+ preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About the Assignment
Join a busy ER department that operates 24/7, providing critical, fast-paced care to approximately 14,000 patients annually. This role will require you to work two scheduled blocks of night shifts, ensuring the department continues to run smoothly and efficiently. Flexibility to work holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, is required. All requests for time off must be approved in advance.
