Employee Separation Policy: Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply
HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays
- NBO: 16 hrs
- EMR: EPIC
- OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
- Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum

- 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40

- Beds: 5 ICU, 3 stepdown
- 1:2, sometimes 1:3 depending on overflow
- Patient types: vent, bipap, airvo, bariatric surgery, gen surgery
- Drips: propofol, leveophed, diliazem, insulin, heparin
Med Surg Unit: - Bed size: 23
- N:P ratio: 1:5
- Patient Types: bariatric surgery, ortho, general med surg
- Drips: heparin

- 24 months of recent/current ICU experience [required]
- Med Surg experience strongly encouraged as they may float between ICU, stepdown and Med Surg units
- Should have comfort caring for 2-5 patients
- travel experience within previous 24 mos [required]

- PALs & TNCC certificates must be active [required]
- NIHSS certificate [preferred] -- can obtain during onboarding

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:
- Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current ICU/Intensive Care experience [required]
- Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (ICU / Intensive Care) [required]
- Nursy s must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission [required] [document]
- Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]

- AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/client ACLS [required]
