What Youll Do:
- Provide expert assessment and consultation on lactation management in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Develop and oversee lactation plans, providing leadership and guidance to care teams
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patients with advanced lactation needs
- Educate patients and staff on best practices in lactation support
- Document assessments, goals, and care plans per facility protocols
- Support the hospitals mission to deliver high-quality lactation care
What You Need:
- Valid Massachusetts RN license (active and in good standing)
- Experience in lactation consulting or related healthcare role (preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
About the Assignment:
This position is based in a well-respected healthcare facility in Pittsfield, MA, dedicated to providing excellent patient care with a focus on maternal and infant health. The RN will play a vital role in supporting new mothers with lactation needs, working closely with patient care teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
