Temp - Registered Nurse (RN)

Description:

• Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients using critical thinking and independent judgment
• Uses all phases of nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Responsible for the direction and supervision of the nursing patient care team typically made up of CNAs, LPNs, and other techs
• Collaborates with own team and other disciplines in the provision of care
• Documents patient care, patient condition, reactions and response to treatment in a timely manner and tracks patient progress.

Client WILL consider travelers who reside within 50 miles of facility at a 10% decrease in rate/hour***

Birth Center: 11 LDRP rooms, 3 triage rooms, 1 OR
RN to patient ratio: 1:1 for active labor, magnesium sulfate, and Pitocin induction of labor; 1:3 couplets, 1:2 early labor patients
EMR: Cerner

RequirementDescription:

• 2 years current Birthing Center experience - [REQUIRED]
• Experience with laboring patients, delivery (newborn care at delivery), and postpartum (moms and babies) - [REQUIRED]
• Prior travel experience - [PREFERRED]
• NRP - [PREFERRED] - Oaklawn will consider RN's without the active certification, must be willing to obtain!
• Travelers perm address must be included in profile
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
• Any/All RTO must be included in
  profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF
  SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests
  at/after time of offer/at interview. Please obtain this information
  prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
