What Youll Do
Perform thorough patient assessments upon admission and regularly monitor patient condition trends
Administer prescribed medications, including IVs, and manage wound care and specialized equipment
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, medication adherence, and recovery instructions
Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and respond promptly to stabilize patients
Maintain accurate documentation of all patient care activities and interventions
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
What You Need
Valid Michigan RN license and BLS certification
Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
