What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Administer medications, including drips (insulin, esmolol, sodium)
• Document patient status and care plans accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Adapt to adaptive acuity needs, including PCU care (3:1 patient ratio)
• Work charge duties as required, including on nights and holidays when scheduled

What You Need:

Required:

• Valid RN license in Vermont
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg or Telemetry experience
• Drip experience (insulin, esmolol, sodium) mandatory
• Charge nurse experience preferred

Preferred:

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to work scheduled blocks, including major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)
