What You’ll Do

• Deliver high-quality care to adult patients in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting
• Monitor and respond to patient cardiac and physiological needs using telemetry equipment
• Manage insulin drips, beta-blocker drips, and sodium infusions, following protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient progress, nursing interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Provide patient education and support during recovery
• Adhere to safety standards and facility policies at all times

What You Need
Required:

• Valid RN license in Vermont
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Med Surg or Telemetry units
• Experience with insulin, emolol, and sodium drips
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to adaptive acuity unit requirements

Preferred:

• Experience in charge nurse or leadership roles
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

This assignment is at a modern, adaptive acuity unit that occasionally requires travel nurses to provide PCU care with a 3:1 patient ratio. The unit specializes in complex patient care, including drip management, and values skilled, adaptable nursing professionals.
