What You'll Do
Provide direct nursing care to a patient census of approximately 22 patients, including telemetry and Med Surg cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Participate in patient and family education
Support leadership and potentially serve as a backup Charge Nurse
Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR system
Assist in maintaining professional standards in a busy clinical setting
Work during key holiday periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) if scheduled
What You Need
Required:
Vermont RN license or applicable state license
Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing
Ability to work nights and handle a patient ratio of 1 to 4/5
Preferred:
Leadership experience or ability to serve as backup Charge Nurse
Own transportation (local travelers residing within 50 miles are not eligible)
