- May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse
- Coordinates total nursing care for patients
- Participates in patient and family teaching
- Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4/5
Average daily patient census: 22

- 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience - [Required]
- May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg and to any unit within scope of practice
- CHARGE RN EXPERIENCE [REQUIRED] - Not negotiable!
- Previous Travel (at least 3 months) - [Required]
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing / BSN [preferred]
- This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.

- Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer

NOTE MT ASCUTNEY 3 STRIKE RULE FOR CALL OFFS (enforced immediately):
- After 3 call offs, a traveler's contract will be eligible for termination due to lack of attendance at Mt Ascutney Hospital and Health Center's discretion
- Each call off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance
