What Youll Do
Provide high-quality nursing care to obstetric patients in labor, delivery, and recovery settings
Monitor maternal and fetal status, intervening as necessary
Assist with procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort during labor and post-delivery
Educate patients and families about postpartum care and newborn care
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Document all nursing activities accurately and timely in patient records
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies
What You Need
Current RN license in Michigan
Minimum 1 year OB/GYN or labor & delivery nursing experience
Strong clinical skills in OB/GYN nursing practices
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records systems
