Pay & Benefits:
  • $60.30/hour plus applicable differential

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide patient care during surgical procedures in various specialties (excluding cardiac and ophthalmology)
  • Maintain a sterile environment and assist with patient monitoring pre, intra, and post-operation
  • Collaborate with surgical teams, including circulating and scrub roles (scrub experience preferred)
  • Assess patient needs and communicate effectively with team members
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
  • Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR during all phases of surgery

What You Need:
  • Valid NY RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years OR nursing experience, EPIC EMR experience preferred
  • Strong surgical skills, especially in vascular and orthopedic surgery
  • Ability to work afternoons and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and adaptable team player

About the Assignment:
This assignment is based at a leading hospital in Glens Falls, NY, offering comprehensive surgical care across numerous specialties. The OR features 14 rooms, including labor & delivery for C-sections, and handles approximately 50 procedures per day. You will support a professional team caring for pediatric through adult patients, with a focus on vascular and orthopedic surgeries. The hospital provides a modern environment with ample support staff and resources to ensure quality care and staff success.
