- Provide nursing care for patients throughout surgery and other medical procedures in the Operating Room (OR)
- Ensure patients are prepared before procedures and supported through the recovery process
- Monitor and communicate patient status to help ensure safe outcomes during the perioperative period
- Provide patient-focused education related to procedure outcomes or potential outcomes
- Work as part of the OR team to support efficient, coordinated care
- Follow facility protocols and standards to maintain a safe clinical environment
