What You’ll Do

• Continuously monitor vital signs and patient consciousness during post-anesthesia recovery
• Manage airway patency and respiratory function, intervening as needed
• Administer medications for pain, nausea, and other post-op symptoms
• Assess surgical sites and dressings for complications or bleeding
• Recognize adverse reactions and initiate emergency responses
• Maintain detailed patient records and communicate with healthcare team members
• Provide support to patients in a high-acuity setting

What You Need

• Valid Michigan RN license and BLS certification
• Previous PACU or surgical recovery experience (preferred)
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and emergency response skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
