What Youll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Assess patient condition post-surgery and initiate appropriate interventions
- Monitor and document vital signs, recovery progress, and response to treatments
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Administer medications and manage pain control as prescribed
- Educate patients and family members regarding recovery processes
- Maintain compliance with safety and health regulations
What You Need
Required:- Current valid RN license in Vermont
- High proficiency in perioperative, endoscopic, and recovery care
- Ability to work days and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment
Preferred:- Prior experience in PACU or related specialty units
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
