What Youll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on established clinical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes with appropriate interventions.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge instructions.
- Assist in orientation and training of non-RN staff, including LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries.
What You Need
- Ohio RN license (active and unrestricted)
- Minimum 1-2 years recent hospital experience, preferably in a similar setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts
Preferred:- Experience in a hospital setting with PCU or step-down units
- BLS certification
