Description: Responsibilities: 1. Participates in clinical monitoring at the unit level. 2. Participates in established patient, family, staff and/or student education program. 3. Develops, documents and implements Patient Teaching and Discharge Planning Record. 4. Identifies unit, staff and patient care problems. Takes action or refers problems to appropriate resources when indicated. 5. May participate in activities of the RN 3 with the exception of serving as a facilitator for the Nurse Residency Program 6. If competent, serve as a charge RN and monitor productivity/patient flow 7. If competent, precept new staff

Must be willing to obtain NIHSS and NRP within 48 hours of offered - [REQUIRED]
