Required Skills:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure and certification
- Proven experience in performing advanced respiratory procedures
- Strong understanding of cardiopulmonary care protocols and equipment
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to follow detailed physician orders accurately
- Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish
- Prior experience in a hospital or critical access setting
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates or higher degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Previous experience working within a critical access or community hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (no travelers from within)
- Ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to comply with facility-specific policies and procedural requirements
- Must commit to a maximum of 5 days of scheduled time off; all requests should be noted at profile upload
