Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Night Shift
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns. The RN will deliver safe, patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Shift Details:
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- 36 hours guaranteed per week.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required.
- Postpartum and nursery experience required.
- Active Ohio RN license or compact license at time of submission.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- ACLS (AHA) certification required.
- NRP certification required.
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments, reassessments, and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide age-appropriate care for labor, postpartum, and newborn patients.
- Administer medications safely and follow medication administration standards.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, pain management, and health needs.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to providers and care teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes.
