What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Strong ability to screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
  • Proficiency in utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based intervention techniques
  • Excellent clinical documentation skills compliant with regulatory standards
  • Solid communication skills to effectively coordinate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
  • Ability to assess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
  • Knowledge of regulatory and clinical practice standards

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience supervising or mentoring CFY or student SLPs
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
  • Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Active ASHA Certification and State Licensure
  • Prior experience working in Long Term Care or similar healthcare environments
  • Experience with discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration

  • Ability to obtain any necessary supplies or DME as per clinical needs
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through trainings and meetings
  • Valid licensure, certification, and adherence to ethical standards in line with ASHA and State regulations
