What You’ll Do:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders in a Long Term Care environment
  • Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to develop and adjust individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatments accordingly
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare team members
  • Document all services, assessments, and care plans in electronic health records, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and facility-specific programs
  • Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as needed
  • Adhere to ASHA and state practice acts, ethics, and standards of professional conduct

What You Need:
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Missouri
  • ASHA certification in good standing
  • Prior experience working with adult populations in LTC preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to clinical guidelines
