What Youll Do- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication skills
- Utilize various techniques to enhance understanding and speech clarity for residents
- Lead and guide speech-language therapy and audiology services in the facility
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver resident-centered care
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Document patient evaluations, progress, and discharge plans accurately
What You Need- Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in Long Term Care setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
