What Youll Do
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and rehabilitation services for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized care plans following clinical standards and regulatory guidelines
Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices in therapy approaches
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed
Provide counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers
Collaborate with healthcare team members on patient care and discharge planning
Support and supervise CFYs or student SLPs as applicable
Ensure documentation complies with all clinical and regulatory requirements
What You Need
Required:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Massachusetts
ASHA certification preferred
At least 1 year of clinical experience in a rehab or long-term care setting
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
Experience working with diverse patient populations
Ability to support supervision of SLP trainees
