Temp - Technician - Cardiovascular (Days) Lansing, MI

What You'll Do:
As a vital member of our team, you'll assist in a variety of high-impact procedures including cardiac catheterizations, angiographies, peripheral angioplasty (with or without stent placement), venographies, pacemaker insertions, and other non-vascular interventional procedures. You'll support both inpatient and outpatient services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational excellence.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in cardiovascular or interventional laboratory settings
- Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot specialized medical devices and imaging equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with medical teams and patients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in Cardiovascular Technology or related fields
- Experience with electrophysiology procedures or pacemaker insertions
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related healthcare discipline
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or similar setting
Other Requirements:
- Must obtain and maintain relevant certifications and licenses
- Ability to work scheduled daytime hours in Lansing, MI starting June 1, 2026
- Willingness to adhere to all safety, privacy, and hospital policies
- No travel required (unless specified)
